Forgive my ignorance, I dont know much about the guy...what makes everyone think he'll be a good GM?

Looks like, according to reports, that Chilly will be an offensive figurehead not an OC. Signs are pointing to Doug Pederson as OC.

He was the Eagles Offensive Quality Control Coach.

Nagy was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles on August 10, 2009 after an injury to backup quarterback Kevin Kolb. Nagy had been working for the Eagles as a coaching intern prior to his signing. The NFL disapproved his contract the following day. Philadelphia disclosed at a press conference that they would not pursue a re-signing of Nagy, but that he would continue to be a coaching intern for the team. He was promoted to coaches assistant on February 9, 2010.[2] He was promoted to offensive quality control coach on March 2, 2011.

People in Philly seem to love Nagy.

Pederson's never been an OC.
Don't like that hire. He has ZERO experience in that role.

He's never coordinated an offense ANYWHERE.
He's only been coaching for three years.

The OC hiring is HUGE. Can't believe he's even being considered for this role.

Not worried, since Chilly is there to help him out, and Reid has a heavy hand in play calling anyway.

With Reid as HC, I don't mind it.
