All this work to get the #1 draft pick and we pick a LT. FML

Depressing. I am holding out hope they pick someone else and this is just all a bad rumor.

Welp.
This is a ballsy, ballsy pick. Fisher is a hell of a prospect, and he's a plug-and-play stud tackle, but he's played maybe two games that matter during his college career. Joeckel is/was a sure thing. He is. He will anchor your left side AT LEAST adequately, if not far more than that, for ten years. Fisher has all the ability to do that, but he is not a slam dunk. That said, I agree with this pick. Fisher is the better prospect, and the guy I'd take if I didn't have any skin in the game, which I don't. But Reid and Dorsey do, and using the 1st on this guy is... well. It's a hell of a thing. |

He didn't just burn it siphoning gas, he burned it siphoning gas with a vacuum cleaner.

I see NO REASON WHATSOEVER WHY, if we do take Eric Fisher, he doesn't step in from day 1 and play like a pro bowl LT or RT.
Anything else would irritate me. If we keep Albert for a year...we would have one hell of a line, lol. |
and I really hope, in all honesty, we can parlay Albert into the 42...trade the 42 and our 1st 3rd to get back into the 1st and land EJ Manuel or Geno (if Geno falls)...
I don't think anyone would cry then. |
