We offered him more than Miami....signing bonus, or a bag of chips. We wanted this guy and were willing to shell out a little more to get him.

We have plans for him.

I must say I have mixed emotions since that is my surname too. I would love to see him succeed and be our QBOTF and lead us to multiple SBs. But, on the other hand...

You have more fingers and toes to count the QBs in the NFL that aren't a POS. None of those fingers and toes are named Alex Smith.
