In a down year he is still the #2-3 most consistent hitter on this team!

Billy is on pace for a monster season for walks.

That's not saying a whole lot. Not when Hosmer, of late, has been hitting better than Belly.

I just see it as he has 1 job. He as not been in a slump, he has sucked ass. Today was better as he layed off pitches he had been swinging at and he drew some walks. But then his fat ass got shot at the plate.

Davis hit his 20th HR for Balt. today, and the Royals will finish the year without a single player at 20+ HRs. That's how ****ing bad this team is right now, and DM still has a job.

Yes, let's continue bitching about Butler, who is definitively part of the solution, ultimately.

I know I am in the minority in trading Butler. I just think we could trade him and get something for him and in the long run be better for it. That says more about Glass\Moore than it does Billy.

But the problem is that his return is going to be marginal. He's an excellent hitter with middling power. He cannot defend and he cannot run.

What is someone giving up? It's not going to be an elite prospect, and that's for damn sure.

His value to the Royals is exponentially greater than his value to any other team. ****, he's basically off limits to all NL teams...

A) It's funny how how bad the calls are turning out this year. What happen to the Indians was just funny. If that falls under the "they're human" excuse, wow, just WOW! I know everybody will say it's no different than any other year, but now that the Umps know that they're safe forever they seem less inclined to worry about making good calls. They're Teflon God dammit!

B) Now that I've seen the Billy "The Belly" Butler play at the plate, that fat ass mother****ing piece of animal shit needs to be on a 1,000 calorie-a-day diet and running 5 miles a day within two weeks. He should NOT play until he's faster than 36.2% of 80-year-old women. Jesus ****ing-A tap-dancing Christ he is one fat, slow, no-running piece of grabastic shit. His mother must be so embarrassed by his look and and must really hurt when the ladies at her club laugh at her for feeding him poorly for all those years. He needs to learn the food pyramid. He one fat ****!

His next team's first move will be to put him on a diet and put him on a treadmill... The Royals just won't do it, but the Yankees will!

Pirates are 35-22. Vin Mazzaro has 25 innings of 1.75 era for them.

Deberg_1990 06-02-2013 09:47 PM

Bottom line: The team isn't any better than the team he inherited 7 years ago. Doesn't matter how good a minor league system he built or how good they look on paper. It's not translating to wins at the MLB level.

Amazing. Never thought Mazzaro would be under a 4.00 ERA, ever.

Jorge De La Rosa is 7-3 for the Rocks.

So basically we have been a 70 win team every year under Dayton with zero improvement from the day he was hired. 7 full seasons down the drain with the start of the 8th upon us. A ballyhooed farm system that completely failed.

Glass and Dayton just wasted the last 7 years of your fanhood. Can't believe people still want to fork over their dollars to them.
