Tater tot pizza

Grinders. Last couple times I’ve had a slice it wasn’t as good as I remember. NY style, which I cannot judge because I’ve never been to NY. Cool place though.

That place has been slipping for awhile, regarding their pizza anyway.

I've had Waldo Pizza, I've had Minsky's Pizza, I've had Grinders pizza, and I've had Caddyshack pizza downtown. All are good pizza. If I was staying downtown, I'd hit Caddyshack. It's over by Gorozzos, maybe two blocks north of there. Great pizza, old school bar atmosphere. Of the others, Waldo is my favorite

Caddyshack is about 4 blocks from my place. I hit it regularly. Something about the sweetness in the sauce does it for me. I love that place.

Speaking of good food that you wouldn't know about, try the Blue Line in the River Market. They have some really, really good bar food. Their wings are incredible. It's a hockey bar, which is a cool change of pace from the norm in town, but it's also really cheap.

mozzarella, pepperoni and meatballs for me

keep it simple

First it was the new style frozen yogurt places where you can add your own toppings that started out here in LA. Then it was the "create your own pizza" places.

FYI - what's coming next is the "pick your fish, pick your glaze" casual dining fish places. They're pretty good.
