If Scott Drew had the Kansas job, not sure if he'd have one by now or not. But he's 1 win away from his 3rd Elite 8 at a bad program. One that was literally suspended from playing when he arrived. He's done an amazing job there.

Boeheim just set the all time record with his 6th loss to a double-digit in the NCAAT. Not content to let Boeheim get too far away, Self immediately registered his 5th losing to Stanford. (All 5 have come in his time at Kansas, in only 11 years. Boeheim is over 35 years)

Scott Drew?

LMAO LMAO LMAO

Just take a year off from KU hoops and Naadir.

Ceej 03-26-2014 09:59 AM

So, we should resign ourselves to hoisting elite 8 banners instead national championship banners?

Pablo 03-26-2014 10:00 AM

Have you ever been on the correct side of any argument in your life, PB?

Troll bait or the ramblings of a moron. Let's move on, shall we?

I'm merely commenting that we are a Paper Tiger in March. We've had an assload of premium seeds (based largely on winning big in a non-competitive conference) we've done jack squat with. Our roads under Self have been littered with easy brackets and we've gotten to the 2 FF in 11 seasons with 5 double-digit upset losses.

That bugs me. But maybe my expectations of KU basketball are not reasonable, that's what I'm starting to believe.

Ya, that loss has brought the internal trolling to a whole new level.

Doesn't count.

Big 12 is such a horrible basketball conference. :)

Outside of shooting, Smart is much better than Ennis at every area of basketball (and yes, that includes flopping). His overall impact on his team is just significantly greater. That bears itself out in the stats as well as where they'll both end up in the draft this year.

I just wish we could have as successful of a program as Baylor.

That would be sweet.

I don't think he is a bad coach overall, no. Recruiting matters and he brought that program back from nothing to be a regular tournament team. But he's obviously somewhat of a clown and routinely makes poor in-game decisions. Baylor arguably should have done more with their talent over the last few years.

He underachieves during the regular season but overachieves in March. (We do the opposite).
No, we don't at all.
