I think I said that!

The problem is, this team has allowed them to think failure is an option. I think it's time to tell them that they're Pros, not Joes, so they need to figure it out. if that's to put pressure on themselves, or to play loose, it doesn't matter, they just have to A) hit, and B) especially when it matters.

I say it's not only time to get into their domes. but deep into them!

It is frustrating, very ****ing frustrating, but the baseball season is a long ****ing marathon. You're going to have stretches good and bad no matter how good or bad your team is. If we learned anything from last year it's just that.

Now I'll be the first to admit that I haven't been a fan through all of the losing years like most, so I'm naturally more optimistic than the average KC sports fan. But guys, calm down and take a breath, the beauty of baseball is that no matter how bad your team plays one day (or two) there's always the very next day.

There are stretches, but the royals can not afford a losing month if they want to make the playoffs.
Not panic mode yet, but they better hope not to get down 5 games this month. Or it is a lost month. I would love to see them have a plus ten winning month. I just do not see it.

Hosmer still has a chance to be good. I think Moose has peaked, Butler is peaked or declining. Those two should be batting 8 and 9. I have no earthly idea why none of their drafted hitters all these past years can turn it on average and power wise. Every other team seems to get one or two. Shit is disheartening.

I'm ready for gmdm and yost to be gone now

Hard to believe this team has regressed this much offensively. You would think that Francouer and Getz were still in the lineup. At least with Getz we got a hot wife.

They're getting their May stretch out of the way early.

Not ready to give up on this team.

i'm sure this has been hit on already, and i'm not going to go through the entire thread. but after watching around 2/3rds of this game, one word comes to mind when it comes to our offense: embarrassing.

Yeah, anybody who has given up already is an imbecile. It's been ten games. It would be the equivalent of giving up on the Chiefs' season in the 4th quarter of the 1st game.

These points have been talked about again and again.

The imbeciles continue to pounce on the "season's over" bullshit like a cat on a tuna can even with such a basic analogy as the one you posted.

It's why I can't hardly read or post in Royals' threads. Deberg, Glory Dayz, etc with their "witty" posts every time we lose one game.

It would be different if the a Royals were a proven commodity like a Yankees, Cardinals, Red Sox, Detroit etc.......

Royals: Monsters around every corner until they prove otherwise.
