He still played a really good football game against a really good team. The final throw wasn't bad by any means...he gave his guy a chance to make a play, but, unfortunately, his guy was M.E.D.I.O.C.R.E and the defender was not.

His three turnovers when they took away his ability to run is why he is not vindicated.

I like Alex Smith. Think he's a good QB. He's not anywhere as valuable as Colin Kaepernick...but don't try and tell me Alex Smith is "vindicated"...because I already think he's a solid NFL QB.
