I thought Martinez's going down was the straw that broke the camels back.

Molina getting hurt late didn't help. MAYBE if Molina is out there he is able to settle down Lackey after giving up a hit to the pitcher. We will never know.

But even if we won today and beat the Cubs in the NLDS we still wern't going to the WS or winning it this year.

WTF?

House money?

You're the best team in the playoffs in either league.

2006 called.

That team had no business getting in the playoffs, much less winning the whole thing.

Chicago is the better team, but we didn't do ourselves any favors in this series.

This! The Royals getting hot is the only thing that can remove the curse now.

I guess Garcia is the one guy that won't swing at the ball in the dirt, unfortunately he won't swing at strikes either.

LMAO

The thing I worry about is the pitching rotation. Can they keep up with the Mets? Arrieta is the best in baseball right now. Lester is good, but sometimes erratic. After that I just don't know. Hendricks can be sneaky good and throw 7 shutout innings. Hammel has been terrible in the 2nd half.

If its Cubs vs Mets thats gonna be tight.

OnTheWarpath15 10-13-2015 05:29 PM

NLCS will be interesting. Chicago beat us with the longball, I can't see the Mets giving up bomb after bomb after bomb.

agreed. With all the injuries, How in the hell did we win 100 games in a division with 96 and 98 wins teams?

Hamas brought that up earlier. I think we can all agree that the 2004/2005 teams were the best ones of this era. The worst playoff teams(besides this one) of 2006/2011 win it all. The playoffs are a fickle mistress.

OnTheWarpath15 10-13-2015 05:33 PM

LMAO

Announcer: They're only down two.

Bryant laces double. (outfielders sucking each others dicks turns into a triple)

The Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908 and yet they are playing with house money. OK
