Why again should he or any other player sign a team friendly deal again?
Don't give me this "what the team did for him" either. Like the team had any real choice in the matter. It would have hurt the Chiefs to have not stood by a player going through CANCER.

Yep. The team can and will cut your ass the minute they feel the need and it makes fiscal sense to do so. To blame a man for not maxing his earnings while the window is open is hypocritical nonsense...

That's been my feeling as well.

It always seems weird to me we want these guys to take less money or team friendly deals, then call them out when they dont.

Has anyone here taken or would taken a team friendly deal at their work? I'm guessing they'd tell their boss to get ****ed

ThaVirus 02-24-2016 08:33 PM

Alex didn't take a team-friendly deal either, IMO.

This is all Bob driven. Berry has earned the right for this.

Any others you want to throw on the list, Bob? How about every ****ing player in the NFL whose contract runs out? The fact that they all hired agents to negotiate deals for them seems to say to me that all they care about is money!

Brandon Siler doesn't care about money.

Anyong Bluth 02-24-2016 09:29 PM

Since when is Berry going anywhere?

Yes he did. He is barely top 10 in salary this season and when Russell/Cam /Luck's contracts kick in he'll barely be 15 in pay. Pretty damn good deal for a QB with a top 5 winning record the last 5 years.

All-pros Berry and Houston carried him to those wins.

Alex is great, but Houston and Berry are money-grubbing assholes who shouldn't be on the team unless they get paid way below their market value.

Blackbob, ladies and gentlemen.

What will it take to eradicate the 49'er ****s? I'll chip in my share...

Thanks to contract inflation.

At the time he signed the extension it certainly wasn't a team-friendly deal.
