hopefully chunt is watching this game with his texas bandwagon fans and gets a chubby thinking about how much money he'd make drafting geno

I think I'm on the Geno train....prob the first game I've watched of him.
The guy's VERY accurate...which is a must in the NFL. His arm strength (or somewhat lack thereof) can get stronger. Plus the guy can make plays with his legs. If we're going to cut Cassel after the season (it'd be ****ing stupid not to), then we HAVE to draft this guy......we should draft him anyways.....I'm just saying... **** Cassel. LOL |
Stat from Gus:
257 straight snaps going back to last year against South Florida No INTs Just the 2 fumbles tonight. If Scott Pioli wants a ball control game manager, Geno Smith can take care of the ****ing ball. |

If you've watched much of geno, arm strength is not a problem

Geno has the strongest arm of the QBs in this upcoming draft I'd say...

Geno has the best mechanics, release and accuracy. Strength wise it's close

I'm thinking more and more that Smith will be the first overall pick. Not that I ever root against the Chiefs, but I've been daydreaming....
|
|
Lots of guys put up video game numbers. Although Smith was certainly making NFL throws while doing that, I was waiting for Smith to play a good defense that could try to get in his head, hit him a little, and see how he reacted. He played really really good. I'm in on the roll call. Please :)

If we end up doing what we should this year, and put ourselves in a position to draft Geno, we have the ability to get really really fast on offense.
Stay with me here. Take Smith in the first. Set at qb. Take Tavon Austin or D'anthony Thomas in the second or third to pair with Charles and Gray/Draughn or Austin at WR. Resign Bowe. You could have Bowe, Baldwin, Charles, Breaston, Dexter, Draughn, Gray, Boss, Moeaki, D. Thomas or Austin as your weapons for your new shiny QB. |

We still don't know how well Geno Smith does throwing to midgets. I'd like to see him do that before I welcome him in a Chiefs uniform /Dave Lane

WVU by a FG.
Geno was as stud, WV had a rb go off, and they got a few defensive stops. |

I want to throw this out there: Madden 2012 had Geno Smith buried in it's game.

We can't **** this up. I've never cheered for losses, but hell with it.
Looking at the schedule. We will be 1-5 at the bye with a big game against the Raiders after the bye. We ain't beatin the Chargers or Steelers on the road. The Bengals at home, we could sneak up on I guess. Then the Broncos times 2, Colts will be another big game to lose and the Browns the biggest game. |
I'm down with Smith. He'd look good in a Chiefs uni.
I like that Austin kid as well. He'll play in the NFL. |

We have to get this guy. We've been passed over and ****ed when it comes to Qb's so many times.
Please just let this one work out. |

Geno Smith on Texas fans' "Geno Sucks!" chant: "I mean, where does that come from? Obviously, I don't suck." |

We are likely gonna have to get to the #1 overall pick to get Smith. What record gets us there? Who are we competing with?
I would say the Browns, but I think they win some games. Raiders maybe? |

Palmer hasn't been bad this year. The Raiders are in full rebuild mode though so they are a threat.
|
Say we win 4 games this year, does taht get us the #1 overall pick?
I'd like to say we won't win another game, but we will. |
Almost certain it would not.

Pioli fired, Cassel cut, first overall pick used on Geno Smith. 2012 could be the best year the Chiefs have had since Super Bowl 4!
|
Once we snag Smith 1st overall, where in the draft can we snag Tavon Austin? Might as well give Geno his favorite target, and cut DMC all at once. Two birds, one stone, etc...
|
I think 2 wins for sure gets you Geno. 3 or 4 might give you a chance.

Weeden being older than Aaron Rodgers, the Browns changing owners, and most likely getting a new front office and coach next year doesn't bode well for them not taking a QB if they pick 1st...

This is the year we need to make our move. |

The Browns aren't bad. They'll win more than we do this year.

If they win 5 games I'll be shocked. SUPER hard schedule, terrible coach, rookie QB etc... |
^ if that happens were in prime grade A kc ribeye steak with double roasted loaded baked potato position to have geno slinging tds in arrowhead this time next year
|
The Browns nearly beat the Ravens in Balt.
We aint beating them on the road. |

Teams that need a QB:
Arizona, KC, Oakland Teams that probably need a QB: Cleveland, Jacksonville, Seattle, Philadelphia |
Kolb, when given time, has looked pretty good this year. I think they stay with him.
|
Quote:
Oakland will probably be our only competition out of the teams listed who could be looking for a QB in the first round. The good thing is that with all the players let go by Oakland and being under new management they will need all the draft picks they can get and will be less likely to trade up for one. If things continue as they have we may finally have cornered this franchise into making a first round QB pick. I just hope if that QB doesn't work out that it doesn't shy us away from going after one again for another 29 years |
Will the fan revolt from losing force the team to win enough games to be out of the Geno sweepstakes?
|
Alot of those questionable teams have QB's who could be what they need, they just need more around them.
|
And now...
Go **** yourself if you didn't love Geno. Poise. Gaming. Cannon. Go **** your ****ing self. Pioli cocksucking ****ers of doom. Geno Smith or death. March on the Hunt mansion with pitchforks and dull razors and torches and shit like that. Sell ten drafts you worthless Hunt ****! |
Sac I'm scared. We have too much individual talent I think to have a high enough pick to get Smith and we won't trade up to get him.
What can we do? |
Arizona hasn't lost yet. They're good at QB...
|
They lost Thursday

Seattle signed Matt Flynn to a 3 year, $27 million dollar deal. Philly is in FIRST PLACE and has Foles behind Vick. Cleveland is the only real competition and even they just moved up and drafted Weeden. |
