haven't even used the word "sheeple... ( lol sheeplebot just showed up in autocorrect) A few of us have already answered your question a few times. We know it's entertainment and treat it as such. I just know now not have false hope in an outcome both game and season long that 8 know isn't happening because I've already seem the pattern/ formula far too many times and the numbers I've crunched with past team dynasties prove it as the examples I've given. I've paid attention to sports, so its easy to keep up with. I don't know crap about basketball or baseball or hockey anymore but all I have to do is Google standings and a couple articles and I know who's hot and who's not and I'm all caught up and can easily bullshit my way through a cliche sports conversation because I know all the lingo. I like sports memorabilia, helmets n such. I'm one of those guys that likes to make uniforms for mlb the show Diamond Dynasty. I watch the first 3 parts of the baseball history series all the time. My friends like sports and its great to go out on a man night and be with them. I've seen so called "I hate sports" forums but since those people are the geeks of the world that never even liked sports,I find them boring. The sites are hardly active anyway lol. I'm still keeping my baseball cards and putting them in sheets. They aren't worth much anyway now since they made so many in the 80s and 90s and everyone has them. Just creative ,fun reminders of the past....and big Afros lol |

At the beginning of the year...on twitter, Russell Wilson's official twitter,he tweeted something to the effect of they were already 1-0 before the game started against Rams. I'm sure Seattle was favored and all the money was on them anyway. I picked Rams and I was right. I don't call that luck or a coincidence. I can't be that lucky going against the grain that much. |
I'm more in the nzoner line of thinking. Money influences the results of many of these games. No doubt about it. Especially this year. Have seen far too many games outcomes decided by "interpretations of rules". "Not necessarily the right call, but the refs pulled it out of their asses anyway and technically it could be a vague rule!!!"

Too many last second heroics, bogus officiating and predictable storylines to take serious now. The billion dollar advertising deal transitioned it into a vehicle for product placement and network ratings. My time invested in this thread is about raising awareness so the sport comes under regulation. There are threads on every football forum questioning this very thing. People are starting to sense something is off... If enough start to lose interest and question it's validity...it will force a change in the structure. |

What about if Manning plays in LA next year, how does that effect the game was rigged so he could go out on top claim?
|
Quote:
If Manning actually goes to LA this year (it's 2016, btw), it's to sell tickets, jerseys, and PSLs. It's about $$. His legacy is secure. No one remembers Joe Namath laying face down in the LA dirt, wearing those garish blue and yellows, now do they?? |

Which was rigged. As ****. Don Shula FINALLY puts Unitas in (shades of Marty and Gannon, 1995), AND UNITAS ALMOST PULLS IT OFF. In fact, down 16-7 in the 4th, Shula ESCHEWS A FG ATTEMPT that would have made the game 16-10 and within reach with an onside kick... 3 years later, he's in South Beach taking the expansion Dolphins to the Super Bowl and the NFL's only perfect season. Unitas gets his in SB V, the worst Super Bowl ever and the worst SB winning team ever...besides maybe the 2015 Broncos. In fact...Super Bowl 50 was a replay of Super Bowl V. With Peyton ****ing Manning starring as Johnny ****ing U. Speaking of Johnny U, in 1965 the Colts and Packers finished in a tie for first place in the Western Conference and a one-game playoff was played in Green Bay to decide who would be the conference representative in the 1965 NFL Championship Game. Johnny U got hurt. The Colts lost in overtime 13–10 due in large part to a game-tying field goal by Don Chandler that many who were in attendence say was incorrectly ruled as 'good'. Makes sense, because by that point, Johnny U was one of the leagues biggest stars, as were Bart Starr and Lombardi's Pack. Given the choice of a Unitas-less Baltimore team or a star-studded Packer dynasty, the refs called a missed kick 'good' in order to manipulate a desired outcome. What's anyone going to do about it?? Next thing, splatbass is going to tell me about how the NFL is going to do an 'America's Game' on Johnny U's final season in San Diego ROFL |
There's not much more you can say. When you really watch point spreads and the amounts put on both sides it is FRIGHTENING.

I'm not the one changing a narrative. I'm calling it a staged game no matter what form it comes in. Since when is it wrong to analyze why, after it happens? Its the same as you analyzing a game after the fact. Quote:
do I need to follow the crowd to please you? Do I need to vote for one of the two chicks in every round of the site contest to get with the popular crowd? Do I need to fit inside your precious box of conformity? Do I need to agree with you to be right? You have probably at some point in your life talked about how important individuality and independent thinking is but once you actually witness it,you are totally confused. damn I writes real good  |

I'm shocked that these clowns aren't millionaires by now considering how obvious and predictable the NFL supposedly is. Funny how the coincidences are only coincidences after the fact.....

the philosophical question is; does it make a noise when it falls if you arent there? You arent allowed to walk past to find out. which implies you arent there but assumes it fell which most people bypass as a truth when in fact its telling you to believe what you are told..what you hear from another source. So the real question is if there was ever a tree.

when you are older you should develop wisdom to not believe everything you are told. Its the majority who believe everything they are told. You are the majority. You were told the nfl is straight up,no monkey business. You believe that. I dont believe in conspiracies either. I believe something did happen or it didnt. you think anything you dont understand or dont want to agree with is then a conspiracy. I dont easily believe that games on tv at night can constantly come down to the final 2 minutes and be exciting till the end on a natural, unmanipulated basis. You do. Ive given constant examples. All you can do in rebuttal is "thats wrong, you dont know, you are crazy,it happened because it happened" even if football werent staged I'd win in a debate contest with you every time because you have no counter argument other than name calling. you're 54? bro, come on.. |

I am confused. I see there are some people in this world that COULD care less about something. There are other people in this world who COULD NOT care less about something. Whether that "something" is actually the same thing or not doesn't puzzle or concern me. I'm wondering what makes the two groups of people different. Thanks in advance for your patience and consideration. Dinny |

I was a solo act, not very good. The bartender even left for a few minutes to run an errand since there was nobody there but him and me. It was late evening and not too far from closing time. I was kind of freaked out because I was only 18 at the time. After the bartender left I went outside and smoked a joint. I went back inside and the pot made me kind of paranoid and I started thinking about just how funky this bar is without any people in it. Nobody but me. I turned my shit up all the way. I blew that room away. There was nobody there to hear it. Probably a good thing, too. I was making a ton of noise and less than a quarter-ounce was fit to listen to. I'm not sure what this has to do with forests and trees, I'm no lumberjack. But I'm still okay. Dinny |
