The Lakers pull another one out. Half game back of the Jazz. Portland is still hanging in there as well.

Lakers had no right to win that game, but Kobe just took over and pushed them to victory. They'd make it a lot easier on themselves if they actually played any defense whatsoever.

Might be the best in the NBA at drawing fouls. It's a skill (as much as it's annoying to watch if you're cheering against him).

I hate kobe.

Yup they come out slow and have bad mental lapses. It's frustrating as hell. Wish we had gasol and hill back. Down 2 big men has been rough.

There was a surprising amount of defense played in the game. Klay Thompson gave Harden trouble with his size, and any time Harden got in the lane there was a player or two there to greet him. That's why he ended up with 11 assists. That said, this wasn't one of his better games. A few too many times, he ran the shot clock down with nothing positive as the outcome.

The Lakers are a lot more fun to root for now that they're an underdog.

KurtCobain 03-09-2013 01:45 AM

They're a lot more fun to hate now that they suck.

Hammock Parties 03-09-2013 01:46 AM

I want the Lakers to beat the Heat in the Finals.

It would be a cool ass story.

3 3 pointers all with insane degree of difficulty in a minute and 35 seconds.

Here in about a hour I am going to head down to catch my first NBA game and watch the Celtics destroy OKC.

BTW, Barkley was right there is nothing to do in OKC. :)

ImAWalkingCorpse 03-10-2013 08:24 AM

Oklahoma City is going to mop the floor with the Celtics.

I know I'm being a homer here, but the freaking Denver Nuggets are the most fun team to watch in the NBA right now and it's not even close. The lead the NBA in fast break points, dunks, and points in the paint. They out-lob Lob City. The game between them and the Clippers a couple nights ago showed that they're waaaaaay more athletic than the Clippers. JaVale Mcgee only plays about 20 min/game, but those 20 minutes are must-see TV.
