I agree, Alex Smith sucks because his defense destroyed the Jags today.

You're missing the point, per usual.

Alex did a nice job not ****ing up the game today.

To praise him for that is going a bit far.

He'll need to play much better if we're to beat Dallas.

13-3 in 2011 and beat Brees in Play-Offs is all you need to know.

He played very well in half 1 when the game mattered. The KC offense just slacked off in half 2 when the game was pretty well decided. I think Reid just decided to save his best and coast.... all about the W.

He made a couple of throws that capitalized on what the defense and special teams set up.

It wasn't anything close to top QB play.

No, im not missing the point. YOU ARE. Alex didn't have to do anything special today.

The defense, did what was necessary today. next week, yes, the offense will have to show more. But for you to downgrade Alex's performance today because of what his teammates did around him is goofy.

You are penalizing him because of who they played and a game that was over at half time.

That seems quite weird to me. But expected.

BINGO. Maybe you do get it. Well, except for the part where you are trying to take away from the things he did well. The Hemmingway td was spectacular.

That was his third read and a throw only where Hemmingway could get it, and get his feet inbounds.

And I tried explaining this to you about the 2011 season. This is exactly how the 49ers went 13-3.

This same exact types of play.

But your retort to me was this.

"The Chiefs don't have a top 5 defense to rely on."

Uh, you sure about that?

How many hours has it been since the game has ENDED and you are still whining and MAD about the game and Alex Smith?

Cry me a RIVER ROFL

And if he is, you'll just move the goalposts again.

No. I'm not hard to please. Just be a real ****ing NFL QB that leads real ****ing drives more than once a game.

.

Not downgrading anything. It was a nice average performance. I'm glad Alex has found his happy place.

Plenty of people care about our lackluster offense.

My worst fears have been realized.

The downfield component of this offense is a joke.

Now that our 5th preseason game is over, it's going to hurt us.
