Lohse was expected to show up tonight and he layed an egg.

yeah, he had performed before this series. He's only in there due to an injury. It's not his fault he went from the minors to a pennant race and the playoffs. We really cant expect him to perform like a 10 year vet.

This organization sure has a knack for blowing 3-1 series leads, 3-2 series leads and going full reerun in Game 7's.

1996, 1987 and 1985 come to mind immediately.

1968 wasn't a blowout, but they made crucial mistakes in that one, too.

These are the people I'm talking about. Only fans because of location and only cheering when they're winning.

You guys have really low expectations for rookies if you aren't upset that they **** up the basic fundamentals/routine plays that they've been working on since highschool.

Oh well.

thats where the lack of plate discipline started.

He shouldn't be in there to start with, we had no better choice due to injury.

Did anyone think that after Carpenter went down that we would get one game from a world series berth?

Kelly should have gotten a Carpenter or Lynn start

Miller has performed well also. Bet he makes the 2013 starting rotation.

Who gives a shit?

DJ is absolutely right. Forget expectations in April. When you're up 3 games to 1 in the NLCS and you DON'T play in the World Series, you ****ing failed.

Shit like, "did anyone think..." is nothing more than rationalization.

BigRedChief 10-22-2012 07:58 PM

okay guys going to watch the debate and then watch the rest of the game on DVR.
