Hell Lebron has even coasted the past couple games. He is a great player

Starting to really doubt he leaves LA now.

I agree. Just took time to get it together

The Spurs didn't travel Duncan or Leonard plus the back to back. Still surprised the Wolves handled them like that.

The Lakers are definitely playing better, but they still need to start beating good teams. On paper Gasol coming back makes them better, but then again throwing something new in the mix can just **** you up again. Don't know if they are going to have time to make it work this year or not, but I'm sure they will make the playoffs. If you are keeping Howard next year I would try to get some shooters and deal Gasol. Those are more needed than 2 big men in D'Antoni's system. I do give them credit for not cashing it in though. I should say I do give Kobe credit for not allowing them to cash it in.

I'm still not sold on the Lakers. It's nice to see Howard "get it", and maybe his back is finally coming back for him, but I don't know.

I just don't see them winning 4 of 7 against the Spurs, Thunder, or Clippers.

LeBron's Cavs teams went on long regular season runs like this too. One of his teams even won 66 games in a season (a remarkable accomplishment when you consider who his teammates were).

They definitely want to play the Clippers out of the 3. If you make them play half court you can beat them. If the Lakers get to the 6th seed they will have a shot at the second round though I would still favor the Clips.

Not like this though. They are now tied at #5 for the longest regular season streak in NBA history. After they win #20 they will be tied for 3rd.

They probably won't break the streak of 33 games but they could easily climb into the #2 spot by winning 3 more games.

It's been an impressive run for sure.

Well, it was a bit like this. LeBron's Cavs in 2008-2009 had 11 and 13 game win streaks as well as winning 19 of 20 at one point.

a clipper match up i think is the best thing that could happen to them in the play offs. NO traveling at all. No back to backs, this helps the lakers tremendously. Kobe can take his chopper to work and even away games will probably be 50/50 with Laker fans.

Only 2 team i dont like for the Lakers are OKC and Denver.

The traveling aspect is a good point.

They definitely don't want Denver. Especially, after Kobe shot off about Karl.

Heat looked tired in the 2nd half, still got the win.

I know they haven't had bynum, but Philly should be better. At least 8th seed. What happened?

20 games is a 4th of the season. That's nuts.
