If you're talking about what I think you're talking about that's not true. The subclass quests do give their rewards (I've gotten both level 40 warlock bonds). You don't get new emblems as a reward for that quest; those are rewards for new quests that aren't active in the game yet.

Yeah, and it's now a legendary, although you have to infuse it to get it to the year one max numbers.

You can. The faction specific quests had an issue with their rewards and a lot of people confused it with the subclass quests.

The faction quests require that you're rep level 25 of higher and then you have to do a list of tasks with that factions emblem, shader and class item equipped.

I got a hawkmoon as well. If you look at the engram it's a painted engram, meaning an exotic rahool painted green.

Love the missions I've done so far. Stormcaller was fun and the mission that started the taken king storyline was awesome.
