This is one of the many reasons you won't catch me rooting for the Cubs. I've met too many that talk about loving the Cubs all these years, heads in the sand about anything they are doing on the field.

The Colby Rasmus trade combined with Chris Carpenter basically destroying the rest of his career so he could win another title pitching with an injured arm and Freese doing his thing won the 11 series.

None of them knew any Cardinals players except Molina.

This is the feeling I'm used to. On the plus side, tickets to the game tomorrow should become affordable. Still not giving up hope. Lester, Arrieta, and Hendricks are 3 of the best pitchers in the league. Just got to somehow find the bats again. Not looking good though. No curses to blame this year though. Cubs are just getting their asses kicked by the better team.
