Wow, i had no idea I have the #1 defense. And the #1 third down defense, and the #1 third down offense. WE'RE #1!
Also, Independence has 43 sacks. LMAO |

It's interesting to see the outliers. The 43 sacks is a big one. In League 2, the #1 team has something like 26. Austin's 4 sacks yielded is also a big outlier, though a team in League 2 has only given up 2. (It's my team, and with Adrian Peterson at HB and Maurice Jones-Drew at FB we're running the ball a lot.) |
I'm making one gameplan change to try and beat Anchorage. We'll see the results it gets.
I'm also putting a big load on Reggie Bush this week, so saddle up, lostcause, you fraud. Hell's coming. |
Interesting. We will see how that works since I already dialed back all my blitzes to compensate for brady.
|
No, I just meant I'm giving him more carries. Ricky Williams is gonna be smoking reefer on the bench.
|
Okay, I've used the stats to adjust game plans for all my teams. We'll see if this works.
At some point I want to try some odd combinations just to see what happens. If some of my teams get eliminated from the playoffs and play other eliminated teams, I may try some stuff like putting all linemen on offense with a running back, or going all defensive ends in the front seven. See if I can game the system any way. |
The solar flare seems to have clogged my tubes. As soon as I get a more reliable connection, I'll run tonight's sims.

Just wanted to say the team stats are really impressive.
You can't even find things like pressure rate on PFF, let alone NFL.com for cripes sake. This is going to be an excellent product. If you could combine it with some kind of graphical interface down the road, you'd really make some money. |

Alex D. Smith spikes the ball to kill the clock.
2nd Q 0:41 2nd and goal Denver 8 Alex D. Smith sacked by Julius Peppers for a loss of -7 yards. time out Anchorage 2nd Q 0:33 3rd and goal Denver 15 Alex D. Smith (pressured) passes complete to Nate Burleson for a gain of 8 yards. Denver 7, Anchorage 14 In a game this tight and important I would wish that a fg had been attempted to end the half. |
Gyeah!

I didn't feel like I was having much luck on the ground, so I have been trying a pass-heavy attack for a few games. But now that we have the luxury of the team stats, I can see that I'm a lot more efficient running that ball than passing. I think I'm going to have go to back to trying to grind it out Herm-style. |

Corona Lights 7-3:
I built my team with emphasis on Defense and a balanced, two TE offense. The stats reflect my thoughts that my Oline is solid (not as solid as I would have thought with my group) and we can move the ball well, but need help with scoring. The wildcat option this season would probably have seen Cam Newton get 15-20% of the QB snaps. I thought my front seven would beast it up: Ray McDonald, Chris Long, Ndamukong Suh and Tyson Alualu are my starting line and have provided all 14 of my sacks. My LBs have been nonexistent. I thought a starting 3 of Connor Barwin (11.5 sacks last year), Patrick Willis and Pat Angerer would be noisemakers, but they literally have shown nothing. Not even a penalty. The bear here is that without any kind of occurrence in the play by play, there is no way to determine their effectiveness, or lack thereof. My DBs are as underachieving a group as you could ask for, but I already mentioned them, although we did double our season int total with one more in week 10. |
