If you're serious, shoot me a text. Going to call DTV again tonight and if they won't budge, I'm setting a disconnect date for mid-September. |

Besides, "netflix.com", "hbogo.com", "amazon.com" don't need the shift key. |
I have two of these already which I use fine and think are great. I'm trying to set up a third one but during the setup it goes into the update and is stuck at 0% for hours. I've tried resetting the chromecast, using the HDMI extender, the power supply, resetting my modem my router...I think I've tried everything. Anybody seen this before and found a fix?

I'm using the hell of our the chromecast these days. I purchased the all cast app which, in conjunction with an app called showbox, let's me stream episodes onto my TV. Between Netflix and showbox I am set for TV.

I just wish that Amazon and Spotify would stop being assholes and make their apps Chromecast compatible. |

Yep, I use Showbox and AllCast as well. The free version of Allcast though. Haven't even looked into the paid version. I probably should, I have Amazon coins to spend.

I'm actually up to 6 chromecasts now, I have one for every TV in the house but one. Kids want to watch a show on netflix, pull out the phone and turn on a movie in one of their rooms. I have Plex and Showbox for lots or other movies and shows. I even have a chromecast on my smart tv because it works better than the apps on the TV. I'm all in on these little things. They still have some improvement to do with the browser casting but the app support is really nice at this point.
