So he's an actor? Who would've guessed. I'm curious who Chagrin thinks is the single most arrogant poster on the board. There should've been an other option so people could list their own personal favorite.

htismaqe - WHO?
GoChiefs - Most neurotic yes. Most arrogant LMAO
Dane McCloud - McTranny is just being a left coast guy.
Hamas Jenkins - Hamas is just out of his damn mind. It's like calling Jack Nicholson in One flew over the cuckoo's nest arrogant
Mecca - maybe, but then he posted his pic and totally ruined it.
Hootie - Just a dumb ****. Arrogant? Yeah, arrogant like a brick.
Skip Towne - Crusty, bitter, old and ED challenged but arrogant? No.
Saulbadguy - Buys his clothes at a clothing seconds distributorship in Manhattan.
ENDelt - A world class dipshit. Blows phobia on the weekends and then feels shame. Arrogant, hell he spits at the mirror when he sees his reflection in it.
Logical - Arrogant as hell, when he's on the short bus.
Iowanian - Bizarrre, twisted and so old school he reminds me of Abe Vigoda from Barney Miller. Arrogant? I think not.
Brock - Just another KS dickhead with an opinion. Probably has a closet full of Russell atheltic sweaters in all shades of gray and wears a John Deere hat when out clubbing.
Donger - He's smart and apparently British. I think he's just a HS Social Studies teacher... maybe community college.
Gaz - This isn't funny anymore.

LMAO What a great post.

Some universities expect students to know the difference between the verbs "to affect" and "to effect."

At least you're paying tuition.

You often hear the term "arrogant asshole". I wonder, is someone who is arrogant automatically an asshole? Can the two be mutually exclusive? I know that an asshole does not necessarily have to be arrogant. I've known many assholes with low self esteem. But can it work the other way around?

Should I have started a seperate poll for this question? Was it arrogant of me to bring it up in Donger's thread? If so, am I now an asshole?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thankfully the effect of this common error has not affected my career as an engineer. ;)

As the second foremost practitioner I think you have to say they go together. The only qualifier is magnitude.

I am not the most arrogant, but I am the only one that is right all of the fuckin' time.
