Hootie is made of internet win. Classic.

Hootie 09-14-2010 12:50 AM

as soon as I heard the Dallas Clark comparisons...

I liked Moeaki

though the injuries are concerning...

but if he stays healthy (big if)...he's an absolute steal

He did.

I admit I have been a big Carr basher...

but he proved me wrong tonight...

and I hope he continues to do so...

he was EXCELLENT

Really, that's your basis?

Tony Gonzalez was limited in his first year and only had two TD catches.

I'm in no way comparing Moeaki to Gonzalez but I do like the fact that the coaches have enough faith to let him play early. They were rewarded for that faith tonight.

That wasn't Garrard lining up behind center for the Chargers though. I mean, the coverage had to be pretty good to hold the Chargers to 14 points.

Rain helped. A lot. Naanee was abusing Arenas when the weather was more conducive to passing (1st and 4th quarters). The secondary also tightened up in critical spots, forcing a few throwaways. It isn't like I'm saying that he was an abortion out there. Growing pains is all.

sure...

why not?

no one ever knows

all of these drafturbating trolls...

they aren't scouts

they read their favorite draft "experts" just like I do...

that's all

I don't watch college football too much...too gimmicky...too inferior to the NFL...

I love the draft...LOVE IT

5th or 6th favorite time of the year...

I follow it religiously...

when you rewatch the game, watch him block. This kid can seal the edge and then catch a 20 yard pass where he just instinctively finds the soft spot in the zone and posts up on the next play.

Dude is a "Visante Shiancoe" type of receiver, but is a equally good blocker.

If we had a quarterback, he would be really showing up.

Why is it the "non fans" have preached patience with guys like Dorsey and Carr when most everyone else said they sucked?

No one is a non fan or a fake fan, we may have different ideas on players or team building strategy. But threads like this to basically call fan cards because you are upset you didn't get your football knowledge badge is pretty douchey.

Reaper16 09-14-2010 12:54 AM

Kendrick Lewis was impressive by virtue of not being horridly out of place a lot. I felt I should mention that.

Eddie Royal, Brandon Lloyd, and Jabar Gaffney are all very good WR's and DT has Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson type ability.

philfree 09-14-2010 12:55 AM

This team is well coached and if this team can grow/improve a little every week us Chiefs fans may be in for a suprise. ......

No, they suck, and no, he doesn't.
