I think it's great that he's giving it another go. He seems to be a little slow compared to the rest of the team, but he was never a speedster. He still is making some great passes. If we could actually teach guys how to act on those passes, he could be a great boost for the team.

I do wonder if he's really happy to be playing on the Avs, as shitty as they are right now, or if he'd rather be playing for a contender. He's a tricky one to figure out.

Forsberg is one of my favorite athletes, and I hope he can get through the rest of this season and maybe even come back for another (even if it's not with the Avalanche). I saw highlights the other night on NHL Network, and he's played about 17 minutes in each of the past two games.

:( Okay, now going back to being serious, I'm not pissed at the FO or the Coaches. Mostly pissed at ownership. Checketts doesn't have the money yet Scottrade manages to sell out every game.

I feel like St. Louis just needs to get a good system in place. They have some good young talent.

Honestly they remind me a lot of the Rangers in many ways but with a few less talented people.

It's not that they don't have a system in place(they do), but the team doesn't have the money to go out and get a big time player. The Blues have tons of young players and the trade with Toronto to get Steen and Coliacavo has been good. And remember before the Blues new ownership, the old Blues owner had the GM trade Pronger and basically abandoned the team.
