I think Orton would light it up in that offense.

Dez Bryant, Austin, Witten, 2 good RB...

These guys can get pissed at you Toad but you are a helluva lot smarter than you are given credit for here.

I was calling for Orton the day he was released for KC... Cassell should have been a Cowboy right now and Orton should be a Chief...

Hell Jason Campbell would have took the Chiefs to the playoffs this year.

But let's look at all the stories that discuss Bowe's lack of work ethic through the years.

Oh, that's right.
There aren't any.

Has anyone with a poor work ethic ever gone through 5 years without at least a whisper of that poor work ethic?

Bottom line: The babysitter is gone. Crennel's style is not to babysit unlike Haley who loved to babysit Bowe and everybody else for that matter. Pioli knows Crennel won't babysit and doesn't trust Bowe on his own with a big contract plain and simple. If Bowe does sign a contract it will be Pioli friendly and we know that probably won't happen.

WTF?! I thought it was Haley's tough love that brought the diva-in-progress Bowe down to earth and made a legit WR out of him? Either you or I must have been in a coma during the Haley seasons.

I'm not trusting of either.

At the end of the day Cassel has won more. At the end of the day, there's a reason Orton is a back up QB.

But most importantly, I'm happy that neither will likely be the QB next year. Because if Orton had re-signed, we'd likely be stuck with him.

One is better than the other. It doesn't have to be significant, but the difference between the two is clear.

You're really not making any big points by saying "They both suck". No ****ing shit.

threebag 07-14-2012 04:35 PM

I am suprised a past Bowe Signs thread hasn't been bumped yet.

The big point is that this discussion shouldn't be happening. There should be no one sad about the loss of Orton. No one should be complaining about him leaving. It's like getting mad that you didn't have diarrhea today.

And the difference between the two is one sucks between the twenties, and one sucks inside the 20s.

Orton is content at being a backup. I'm content in not wanting a QB like that.

If we had Orton here, we would be moving on from Cassel, because he would ****ing embarrass him with our lineup on offense. We'd be a top 10 offense, easy.

O.city 07-14-2012 04:45 PM

I have no doubt, Orton easily beats out Cassel in a comp.

One thing I do like about Crennel is that he doesn't seem to be big on Cassel.

Which I like.

Play well enough to beat him out, or actually beat him out?

I'll take the former, not the latter.

No way someone starts at QB for this team unless Cassel is injured.

Really think it would have been to obvious not to start him over Cassel.

Top 10 offense? Doubt it. Top 15? That seems more likely. Orton doesn't put it in the endzone enough to be one of the top offenses in the league. Succop would get a workout though.

If we had Orton here, we'd have 3 more seasons of mediocrity. Atleast with Cassel it's likely one.

No way Pioli's baby gets benched if he's healthy.

Not.

Happening.

Yeah, we said that last year too.

Every year is the year Pioli is going to wake up and draft a franchise QB.
