It's either Reid or Cowher for me, but I thought I read that Cowher just spent a bundle on housing in NY, waiting for the Giants I figure. So I'm in for Reid at this point, based primarily on the fact that it drives Pioli out of town and the #1 pick. Has to be a seasoned NFL coach, and if you can do it in Philly you can survive anywhere in my view. The one thing I want is a commitment to play the #1 pick, who has to be a QB, from day 1 regardless of the outcome. None of this bench sitting crap. I totally agree, this is not the time to roll the dice with a college guy or assistant without HC experience. From what I've read Gruden is not interested in small market. I just think that Cowher can make the most of a rookie QB, but Reid is definitely solid.

better than what we've had .....

Reid made a joke out of his DC. Brought offensive guy to run the D. Inexplicable fail.

Cowher or his rep told Petro he isn't coming to KC.

Pioli has a huge ego. And Clark is hanging him out to dry...just about ANY head coach coming in means a new GM is coming right afterwards. It's a werid way of doing things for sure....usually GM goes before the coach. BUT CLARK IS HANDS ON NOW!!!! |
Would be awesome if Clark was trolling Scott by sending him to Atlanta.
"Sure, Scott...please interview this potential head coach candidate in Atlanta." |

Apparently, Horton's interview with AZ went very well. Hopefully thats good news for KC and Reid. edit: if you are cynical though, Horton might be the Rooney Rule interview |

Rather have Holmgren than Reid. Holmgren took the Packers to the Super Bowl multiple times and the Seahawks too.

We'll have a new (young) QB right? Reid's recent lack of success is a big problem, especially with QBs. He's a football guy, I get that, but he needs to take a year off... |
