And free agency and the draft aren't even close to over yet.

Can't wait to draft Zach Martin! **** yeah!

Kevin Harlan said today on 810 that if there's a really good tackle at 23 that falls to us, well have no problem taking him. Oh man can't imagine taking OTs 2 years in a row

Never going to happen.

Hmm, we could pass on him if we could trade back, still pick a receiver first, and land Joel Bitonio, Billy Turner, or Brandon Thomas with our 2nd pick.

That's assuming they make it there.

He's a solid backup. They paid him like one. John Dorsey and Andy Reid agree with me. :D

I just think we got a huge bargain because other teams question his devotion to the sport after walking away previously.

You're right though, he was paid as a backup player and if that's what he ends up being, we will be in really good shape going forward.

Harlan is like that. Take it with a grain of salt. I know everybody hates the term, but Kevin Harlan's picture is in the dictionary next to "True Fan".

He's basically Holthus without the random goofiness.

I'm not down with drafting a lineman anywhere in this draft. I wanted to (hopefully) improve there. If we're going the young, unproven route, we have guys already on the roster that can do that.

The draft needs to focus on WR, CB, TE, pass rusher, not necessarily in that order.

I got a little carried away this afternoon.

Abdullah certainly isn't a bad player. He is what he is.

I overreacted to the overreaction. I find the dancing banana thing really annoying for some reason.

Trust me, that's not a move that would make me happy

I would say that OL is a lot more of a need area than TE is. Unless Ebron falls to us or we take a late round flyer on a guy like AC Leonard, I don't want to see us even touch that position. I highly doubt that Dorsey and Co will give up on the Fasano and Kelce pairing so soon also.

We have young, unproven guys on the line. We've got Kelce and shit at TE.

You know how I feel about Kelce but let's put that aside for a second...

Don't ever mention Fasano like that again. He's a scrub. The hope for that position lies with Kelce. Even McGrath is better than Fasano.

:D

I know we may not agree with how they view our TE position but, like I said, unless Ebron falls into our laps, we won't even touch the TE position in the first 5 rounds.

Dorsey, Reid, and CO all believe that Kelce is the answer and Fasano is a solid starter who was just banged up.

BossChief 03-12-2014 10:05 PM

You obviously don't know anything about Amaro. That guy would be amazing in this offense.

The story of his career.

By the way, this sentence is completely absurd. We've been told all day to be patient, we have no idea what Dorsey and Reid are thinking. That applies to positive statements as well.
