I was very disappointed when Denver got rid of Cutler, and Packers fans love him. I really think that says all that needs to be said about that.

Doesn't mean Alex Smith is a world beater, but Cutler is not someone anyone should want.

Geno, Sanchez, Cutler, Smith, all Qb's you have been wrong about. I sense a pattern.

Pretty easy to talk shit when you don't give firm opinions on who you think will succeed and won't.

Chiefs drafted him? Future All-Pro!!

I think Alex has a career day on Sunday.

Pittsburgh is gonna sell out to stop the run and Alex is gonna shock us all by feeding Avery and Wilson the deep ball to keep them honest...which in turn will open up running lanes for Jamaal to have a big day.

I think Alex had a moment in the locker room a couple weeks back where things kinda clicked for him and he is gonna go on a little run here.

Alex has to sack up and play to win

No more playing scared

Afraid of getting hit
Afraid of throwing Ints

He has to throw into smaller windows. Lead guys instead of hitting them in the hip so that their shitty hands won't cause interceptions.

Gotta go for it.

Yeah, you see the problem is that when you hold your self up in a sanctimonious manner, call anyone who disagrees with you a moron, and overall act like a pompous douche nozzle, your mistakes are more likely to be gloated over by others.

Seriously, sometimes I wonder if you people spend any time in the real world among real people. If you treat people like idiots, they are going to destroy you when you are demonstrably wrong on a regular basis.

Yeah, you might want to try another board.

Why would I try another board?

Don't pretend for one second that everyone acts that way just because you and a handful of others do.

I have given many an opinion on how certain QB's would do or not do. You just need to pay attention because I don't ****ing ram it down your throat forever like gay Clay but I guess you like that.

Further more I have bitched about many a pick the Chiefs have made but you don't pay attention. I didn't like the Fisher pick and wasn't big on Ford.

You are a lemming, own it.

I was pretty ****ing pissed after the AZ game and yea I am doubting my previous opinion.

Contrary to others opinion I wont blindly keep supporting anyone, nor have I ever.

That being said if we win the next 2 my trust could be regained.

I don't know how many times (or opportunities with this team ) that Smith can show people a simple truth of:

If you block remotely well for him, he will show you a very competent QB!!!!

Elite? lol, no.. effective? hell yes.

If the team around Smith is performing to what is expected of them? Alex will do his job well and the team win more games than not.

Nobody that has supported Smith here has ever claimed he was elite.

I have always said I think he is good enough to win a SB with some good players around him, I have never thought he would carry the team for a season etc...

I also thought he was a good fit with Reid so it all made sense.

He was also our best option at the time and that is still being shown to be accurate.

At some point on the path to the superbowl he will have to take it down the Field with 2mins or less to get a score he showed me nothing to change my belief that he is the worst 2min qb I've ever seen.

Reasonable point he will have to do something late in a game before long but he has had his share of 4th quarter comebacks in his career.

This year against the Raiders and AZ in losses he had great comeback drives stalled by defense, refs, and then some crap plays by himself and his OC.
He was nails against NO in the playoffs late and nails against Indy early last year.

Consistency is an issue no doubt.

Im pretty sure given ample time and wide open receivers most NFL QBs will be effective and competent.
