That's exactly what Tennesse did yesterday.

More picks doesn't necessarily mean more talent added to the roster.

Example: 2004. The Chiefs traded out of the first and took Junior Siavii and Kris Wilson.

That worked out well, didn't it?

I agree, they shouldn't have traded out of the first.

Flashed yes, but the thought of using Kelce and Henry in this offense is pretty exciting. A great insurance policy too.

Would be copying the Patriots in our unique way, with similarly skilled TEs. I don't anticipate it though.

Yeah, its the 2 TEs that make the Patriots so good...

If we want to copy the Patriots, we need to go find a Hall of Fame QB and coach, not draft a tight end in the second round when we could really use a receiver and corner. Let Pioli trip over his dick in Atlanta with Dimitroff and try to be New England South, I want no part of that shit.

pugsnotdrugs19 04-29-2016 12:38 PM

I'm not saying it's what we need to do, I've already stated I want a CB, WR and G in the first 3 picks...

I'm saying it's not a bad idea. TEs are a big part of this offense. Kelce has injury history and without him the offense would be much worse off, believe me.

Having 2 really good TEs forces teams to play single coverage on WRs far more often. It is going to help the Patriots big time this year just as it would us if we went that way.

But again, not my preference.

I'm not against running two TE's like New England did, as the Ravens ran a similar two TE set during their Super Bowl run.

But at this point, the Chiefs don't have the luxury of taking a TE in the 2nd round due to the fact there's a hole at CB and LG and depth could be used nearly everywhere.

I think Kelce, O'Shaugnessy and Harris will be fine. Plus, they have Parker and I'm sure they'll get a priority free agent, which will end up on the PS.

Kelce is a long term Chief, they just drafted one last year and Dorsey's pet TE is also around. They aren't drafting a ****ing Tight End.

Yep, for whatever reason we are locked in at TE with the 3 we got.

Yeah he is, but he also isn't guaranteed to be there week in and week out. Injuries happen.

Right now, the idea of Maclin/Conley/Kelce/Henry/Streater sounds more skilled than Maclin/WR draft pick/Kelce/Harris/Streater.

Just being honest. I think the first bunch is MUCH more difficult to defend and gameplan for.

But for the last time, I do not expect Henry to be the pick.

They have 3 TE's under contract beyond 16. They aren't even going to consider it.

Jesus ****

Yeah, that 5th round pick from Illinois State, he's just totally not replaceable.

Terrible idea.

Maybe we should draft a RB.

BryanBusby 04-29-2016 01:20 PM

Yeah lets not let him ****ing develop because **** that. Lets not fill actual needs so we can jack off into a jar over yet another tight end

Laugh now, but if Kelce goes down this year, it won't be such a joke.

It's simply an idea. I've already said I want a corner at 37.
