How do you stop this? Player safety is one thing. Fans potentially influencing games with their obnoxious behavior is another. Just one year removed from Blue Jays fans throwing beers on the field because they disagreed with the umpires. Disgraceful.

What if the guy got hit in the head and dropped the ball?

I totally get the strategy, and I support it 100% most of the time. But that's pretty tough tonight because you lose, you're done... and you didn't fire your best bullet. Plus Baltimore has other good relievers down there.

Play your best guy vs. the heart of the order and hope you take the lead and have to face the bottom of the order next. It's not that hard.

Yeah, Andy Reid has been to as many championship games as almost anyone, and one Super Bowl.

Buck has managed for 18 years and has won 1 wild card game and 1 playoff series. Honestly even Marty had more success than that.
