I think DJ joined the raiders to become an inside man, learn all their shit then come back as a coach and use it against them

Lol, I think Andy has already proven he doesn’t need ‘inside info’ to make the Raiders his bitch. (8-2 since he got here)

I wonder if DJ has any hard feelings over the contract given to Hitchens? The Chiefs paid DJ just over $50 million over his 13 year career. His replacement is getting $45 million over just 5 years. That just doesn't seem right to me. Hitchens may never be half the LB that DJ was.

It's not like we're talking about a guy who retired 10 years ago. We're talking about a guy who is still in the league. He's averaged less than half that his LAST 5 YEARS!

Maybe he wanted to be a Chief and gave them a hometown discount

I definitely think this is part of it.

It’s also been reported in the past that DJ made concessions on his contract to help the Chiefs with the salary cap. DJ was definitely a team first guy.

Will always be one of my faves, even if he did sign with the Faid.

Also, DJ doesn't have to agree to a contract

Considering he's had one sack in the past two years, I'm not gonna worry about it much.
