Cant beat it for 15 a month. Monthly fee's dont bother me if i am having fun with the game. if it sux, then well, i wont play anymore.

I could live with the monthly fee if I didn't have to fork over 50-60 bucks just to have the game. If you decide you don't like it after a month what a friggin waste of money. The game itself should be free if there are monthly fees associated with it. Or, at least, not cost more than 20 bucks up front.

this game is a huge ****ing download, almost 12 gigs.

Ill know how it is in a few min, its at 94 percent done downloading.

After the the first initial starting area, i have to say this game so far is a big 2 thumbs up. I went towards the villain side.

Question for PS3 people, can you put movies and stuff from your computer onto a usb flash drive and play them on the PS3?

It would be easier just to stream them from your computer if they are on the same network.

Don't bother picking up a PS3, PS4 is right around the corner

In response to some fairly bogus claims by an "analyst" last week, Sony has come out of the woodwork to state that yes, it is indeed planning to build a PlayStation 4, but not until at least 2010. Therefore, by taking this quote completely out of context, we have deduced that there's a mere three year wait for some next-next-gen goodness, which can be easily tide over by FFXII, GTA and SotC. However, were we to actually do our job, we would let you know that in the interim Sony is planning on firmware upgrades for the PS3 to expand media center capability, allow third party applications, and to support third party controllers similar to that of the Wii. "To say that there will be no PS4 because of a management change is a bit far fetched," says Paul Holman. He also went on to mention the possibility of a keyboard and mouse bundle with the PS3, predict at least 20 new games for the European PS3 launch, and to tout that schmancy Cell processor under the hood. We're standing by for a PR cleanup crew any moment now.

I decided to read the first page of the thread, and I have to say...for such a large thread, Valiant sure did a good job in securing the "Dumbest Post in the Thread" at such an early date.

That was before they discovered it only does everything.

I was going to ask the same question as LA. I am not having much success with trying to share my media folder. Is there anything specific I need to be doing for file streaming? I imagine it is somewhere in this massive thread. Also do the movie files have to be a specific file format/size?

Absolutely.

But, to answer your question, it depends on which version of Windows you are running. If you are on Win7 you have to actually accept the PS3 as a sharing device on the home network within Win7. You also need to make sure the folder you want to stream from is set to Share All.

Just pre-ordered Killzone 3 and the Move Sharpshooter. Can't wait to see how well the Sharpshooter works.

I think we will wait on a saleprice on the sharpshooter. $40 seems a little too pricey for what it is.
