I am enjoying the cub suffering.

NL is a joke, everyone knows that and has forever.
Obv Cleve still has to close it out and *could* lose 3 straight, but barring that, is there any doubt they're the best team in MLB this year? If they win tonite that's 11-2 in the postseason. That's freaking domination. And the Red Sox/Jays/Cubs were the best caliber teams they could've possibly played. |

That doesn't happen in basketball or football to the point where it has the ability to make such a significant difference in how tough it is to beat a team to advance. |
It's a must win game for the Cubs tonight............

Isn't their motto, "There's always next year?" |
There is no excuses for the Cubs poor play, they have been the most stacked team in MLB ALL YEAR. No major injuries (except for Schwarber, minor hit) They lead in almost every category. Pitching, Defense, Hitting, Bullpen. Speed. Its just they have been labeled by the unfortunate name of Cubs, and are feeling the heat of finally ending the curse. Bonerfied Choke Artists.

Frank Thomas seems like a nice guy, but he doesn't bring much to the set outside of generic observations. A few views as a hitter once in a while.

What would be the addition to Cubs lore if they lost? No real moment that could be pointed to as a curse moment. I guess just losing with such a stacked team would be the story.

Great renditions of the anthem in all 3 games in CHI and 1 in CLE. The duo in CLE was terrible. Was that the game CLE lost? If so this is a good sign for them.

Big lineup changes tonight...
I'm still confident the Cubs can get this to game 7 but Maddon sure does love to give his team an uphill battle. Hopefully Lester goes 3 for 4 so Bryant and Rizzo have something to drive in. |
