I'm thinking it will be Bryce Harper AND Stephen Strasburg. I mean, this IS Gregor Blanco we're talking about.

no shit, right? duh, dumbass. my only point is that there's a long time until he hits the bigs. no need to step up and restate the obvious, n00b.

Okay, you fellas need to go look at the play Betancourt just made in Milwaukee.

The Brewers have the worst defensive MI in baseball (by a fair amount) but Betancourt and Weeks just turned one of the nicest DPs I've seen this season. It was some of that flash over substance you see from Betancourt quite a bit, but it was still a hell of a play.

I doubt it will be a long time. If he's what he's billed to be, he'll be with the big club by the time he's 20, if not before.

Jr. was up at 19. I believe Justin Upton was up at 19, too. Maybe 20. A-Rod was 18 when he debuted.

Yes, I am inexplicably watching that game, too. That play was a jaw dropper. A run did score on the play, but no one seemed to notice.

Aaaand Weeks to Betancourt for a laughably bad play

Sure-Oz 05-09-2011 10:23 PM

That play was sick, too bad betancourt still blows

alnorth 05-10-2011 07:21 AM

stopped clock, correct twice, etc

Demonpenz 05-10-2011 08:44 AM

Stopped clock doesn't hit homeruns like ole fudge round could I am happy with escobar though. He is a good one. Saved some errors by latteral movement while staying on the bag from a throw by hosmer the other day.

It was like Jose Guillen trying to play shortstop. An empty slugging percentage combined with horrid defense.

Have you checked out Betancourt's slugging percentage this year? It's putrid...

I haven't checked anything from any other team. I have been focused on Hosmers stool to make sure he is healthy

For shits and grins, an updated mock: http://www.mymlbdraft.com/MLB-Mock-Draft-2011

If Starling goes right before the Royals, I'm going to ****ing puke. I was also interested in Purke's tumble. Apparently, he's experiencing soreness, has been shut down, and is pending a visit to Andrews.

If Starling is off the board, Purke has a shit ton of talent, if healthy. Could be worth the risk, though we'd need to get him to start wearing his hat properly.
