We got a safety on the Donks in 2010 at Arrowhead. End of the game. I think that play got reviewed though and overturned.

Stats from the "**** it, I'm going deep" game.
Tom Brady: 25 of 35 for 311 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 5 sacks, 2 fumbles Roddy White: 6 catches, 61 yards Torrey Smith: 4 catches, 71 yards Santonio Holmes: 2 catches, 56 yards Brandon Banks: 2 catches, 30 yards, 2 TD Kellen Winslow: 7 catches, 66 yards Reggie Bush: 12 carries, 94 yards Ahmad Bradshaw: 2 carries, 6 yards Sacks: Charles Johnson, Julius Peppers, Michael Boley So I had 40 passes called and 18 runs, which I guess screwed with my production, since I only had 17 offensive points. But I had a lot of yards, so maybe not, and I love the YPC Bush got. I also had five drops, which means Brady was really awesome. But giving up five sacks is not something my offense does, so this gameplan kinda sucked. I also had a weird 18 play, 82-yard drive that lasted 9:45 but featured 13 called passes. I was sacked 3 times in the drive but still scored a TD. Also, this is cool logic. I would have assumed the software would make me punt here: Quote:

Interesting. I'm 3rd best in the league (out of 24) at getting pressure on the QB (38.1%), but it doesn't seem to be translating to turnovers or sacks. 16th in the league in sacks and DEAD ****ING LAST in interceptions with 4. FOUR!
And it's not like I'm trotting Benny Sapp out there...I feel like I've got a pretty decent secondary with Woodson and McCourty at corner and DeCoud at FS. My liability is Roman Harper at SS. He's not much in coverage. I am eighth in pass yards allowed, though, so I've got that going for me. Which is nice. |
Are you stopping the run?
Are you getting leads? |
I forgot to advance the rosters and can't do it yet because power is out at the house. Plan on sims monday night & I'll advance the rosters first chance I get.

Ok, week 13 rosters are now available.

I just cleaned up a bunch of issues pointed out by astute Sanboxers:
In lostcause's post 2380, the FG at the end of the half will be attempted. In Rain Man's post 2405, the FG will be attempted. In Rain Man's post 2425, the team will go for it instead of punting. In trohper's post 2426, the leading team will only run in this situation. In Rain Man's post 2427, in overtime a team will get more conservative once they get in FG range and may attempt a FG before 4th down. In Rain Man's post 2431, the touchback on the INT will be handled correctly. Slowly but surely, Dick Curl will be removed from the ear of Sandbox coaches. |

http://i.usatoday.net/communitymanag...mnfx-large.jpg Provo's primed for a playoff run. Let's get this party started! |
I'm going to order a pizza and wait for the results.
I liked lostcause's suggestion a while back about letting people access the play by play before they know the score. I like scrolling through the play by play, but it would be more exciting if I didn't know the score before I did it. |
