Kevin Kolb is a far worse QB than Matt Cassel.

Kolb had weapons out the ass and couldn't produce with the Philly offense. Cassel at least moved the ball with tons of weapons.

I just don't see the comparison between both deals. They are giving up a draft pick, a former #1 (regardless of how they view him now, he was considered young and ascending just 2 years ago) and huge money to a guy who has done nothing in this league.

This is a huge fail trade.

I agree with this part in the sense that one year isn't necessarily proven, but Kolb has thrown more picks than TDs in his NFL career, and he's got a losing record as a starter.
