Let's say the Chiefs take a step back this season and miss the playoffs. Are we really going to blame Dorsey because the majority of his picks weren't contributing on Day One?

Chris Jones needed injuries to do anything last year. Tyreek Hill was the only rookie that changed anything, really.

I also miss what we were able to do when we drafted Marcus Peters. It's always refreshing to get players like that. They're just a lot rarer than some people think, even as far as first rounders go.

We might draft Zane Gonzalez and cut santos to get cap money.

Sounds like a terrible plan. Santos has been good and hasn't even hit his prime.

You can certainly blame him for not upgrading at positions that certainly would have impacted the performance of the team. Most notably at ILB, he would have had Reuben Foster if he sat still and held on at 27. Think about that for a minute. And he still could have traded up in the 2nd for Kizer if they really wanted a QB to groom, or taken Webb in the 2nd.

Foster and a QBOTF in the 2nd would look a lot better than two 2-3 year projects with the top 2 picks in the draft while losing a 3rd and your 2018 1st. And one of those guys would have actually helped the team tremendously.

Not to mention that Andy Reid almost never starts rookies.

Mayock is hilarious with his zero ****s given attitude about the draft this year.

This is assuming all QBs are interchangeable. You can just take one, plant it like a tree and watch it grow. It's not nearly that simple.

He's right, this is ****ing stupid.

As a fan, why bother coming out to the 3rd day anymore if they are going to pull this shit?

Can you elaborate? I haven't really been listening.

We've hit the "We don't give a **** about any of these guys so we aren't going to talk about any of them" point of the draft coverage.

He's sick and tired of all of the cutting to go someplace else to make the pick. He wants to talk about the kids getting drafted and they're spending more time on the build up.

Is there a reason Bucky Hodges has slipped this far?

It still doesn't change the fact that our team has borderline playoff talent level with a top-3 salary cap. Premium money spent for above average talent.

we are always among the youngest teams in the league and we will continue to be because of the revolving door of talent we have.

Guys come in, guys leave ... overall talent level stays the same.

Too many projects costing too much money

countdown until response of 'it's all Alex Smith's fault' .... 3,2,1....

You get more stupid by the day, don't ya? :hmmm:

Deep class. Why Butt and Kettle fell so far.
