I’ve never went thru this, I didn’t know the mother would have to do this. I would have thought that the mother starts the legal process to get child support from the father. If the father challenges that he isn’t sure he is the father, then there would be a need for the DNA test. Then the father would be the one requesting the DNA test.

Depends on the state. Where I got divorced (not KS or MO), the ex had the right to request my tax returns and go back to the courts to request and increase in child support. Never happened, but she could have if she felt like it.

If Tyreek says they are not his, SHE has to file to force him to take a paternity test if she wants child support.

I didn’t know that the process had already started and she is requesting the test in response to Tyreek claiming the twins aren’t his, or he isn’t sure if he is the father or not. Either way, this is not a negative for Tyreek.

Paying for newborn twins is no joke, especially on a teacher’s salary. And daycare? Hoo boy. You’re talking about $40k just for daycare for those 3 kids, minimum.

Full gestational age for twins is considered to be 38 weeks for anyone trying to backdate it, though that is only 38 weeks to the last menstrual cycle. Would put that sometime in October.

Was told at one time that they weren’t together until September/October last year. If that’s accurate and the kids were conceived sometime in October, he knocked her up pretty close to instantly.
