Supposedly due to the switch to clean burning summer blend gas, prices jumped $.20 overnight here.

I refuse to put ethanol in my tank, so I just put in regular unleaded. Fuggin 3.85 yesterday, cost me 50.00 to fill the tank. OUCH!!

That regular unleaded more than likely is 10% ethanol.

So, does that mean the 10% ethanol gas is really 20% ethanol?

I'm pretty sure it's not the same gas. I get 2-3 MPG better using the regular unleaded than the ethanol. Which is weird the ethanol is higher octane...I would have figured it would be better on mileage, but the proof is in the numbers...

Looks like nebraska is one of the few states that require notification if the gas contains ethanol. Most states don't so you really don't know unless you test it.
