11 guys are under par for their rounds today as the morning session is wrapping up.

This is one of the things that's kind of a pain in the ass about tournament golf.

It's actually better to hit a really bad tee shot than even a mediocre one that ends up 4-5 yards off the fairway.

What could be the biggest shot of the tournament could be comming up shortly for McElroy. Lots of trouble around this green.

His putting has been criticized as overly mechanical in the past, and he hasn't proven to be a lethal closer, but his meltdown at Augusta started with a bad tee shot. However, once that happened, he took 7 putts total on 11 and 12, and was 7 feet away from the hole on 11 and 20 on 12.

Given the fact that he's a fast player, I'd be most concerned with his tempo getting too fast, causing that miss left.

Bad break for Mickelson.

That's a bad break for Phil, but it was also too aggressive of a line.

And Rory's now in trouble, too.

Well that wasn't a good finish.

The non-Phil play is to leave yourself 40 yards short and right with the fat part of the green to work with to give yourself a shot to get up and in.

That's a horrible break for McIlroy, but he's a ****ing dumbass for not putting spin on it as he dropped it.

This Judy Kratzert woman is a complete moron. It's always much, much easier to hit a chip where the ball is above your feet than below. Her lines and judgment of these shots has been atrocious.

And there's a double. Still a ridiculous lead, though.

Guess I had better learn how to spell his name. McIlroy instead of McElroy. :shrug:

I hope you all don't stop watching just because McIlroy is done. Watching all of these other guys struggle immensely on this course shows you just how unbelievably he's played.

However, I think it will be interesting to see how he handles waiting about 30 hours with that double bogey in his craw.
