Hope there is someone that has a clue about this.
My daughter bought a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee larado with the 4.0 yesterday. While fixing a few things that were wrong with it I found an unplugged wire. This is out of the same bundle as the high pressure switch on her ac. A 2 wire plug that I can not find a home for. I went as far as pulling the headlight and battery tray trying to find what it is for. It is a 10in pigtail at the bottom left of the radiator. Anyone have an idea. It looks like it has been plugged in as it is clean. Anyone have an idea on finding a wireing diagram for the engine compartment. |

Is it on the drivers side? (Left as you said) or passenger side? (Right side)
Battery tray is on right side, if that's the case there is a plug for the electric fan there I know for sure. The clips on them break and it comes unplugged and it still will never overheat unless you are in a drive through with the ac on for an extended time. I'm betting its probably this. |
Right side. There are 3 plugs (4 if you count the battery temp sensor under the tray)
One goes to the high pressure ac sensor one to the elect fan and then the random. Will post a pic in a few mins. |

Wires are red and blue and red and green
