For a few hours. Until the Rams-Titans trade of draft picks overshadowed both of them.
Draft. Picks.

Because it's a different day and the Kobe vs the warriors was at the same time.

Your point makes no sense

Won't take long Lakers I'll puill something out of their ass sooner rather then later. It's what they do and who they are

Yeah I wasn't very clear. Was actually repeating what morning sports radio guys were saying this morning in that they were amazed that NBA playoff and Kobe retirement headlines were replaced so quickly this morning by news about a trade of draft picks in the NFL. Illustrates the national popularity difference between the two leagues.

I thought there was a lot of chaos in the Lakers FO that was screwing up the typical Lakers moves and that the allure of playing in LA was lost and pushing stars away.

They're going to suck as long as Jim Buss is calling the shots

They will be fine they have alot of young talent and they showed some flashes of being really good at times. Plus they should be getting the 2nd pick in the draft..

They basically had 2-3 rookies starting for a good part of the season.

Cal Ripken hit's a bomb in his final All-Star game? Eh, just an exhibition - meh.

A 37 yr old player with over 1,500 games on his legs puts up 35 points on his last 20 shots of the game - something you missed ALL of - and you act like you can grab any ol' jackass from a guitar center and get a similar performance.

Eh, you're a moron. You're a moron about everything else so there's really no reason to expect otherwise here.

Jeters' pitch was staged. Kobe set the record for # of attempts in a game, how is this supposed to be considered a legitimate performance, especially with third string players out there

I just looked, the Titans-Rams story is at the top. Which was my point.
I didn't look to see what was below it.

Yeup.

That is one dumb sumbitch right there. He's the living embodiment of being born on third base and thinking you hit a triple (well, second to Trump in that regard).

He's a disaster.

Bad trades, stupid situation with Phil and Mike D'Antoni and then hiring the most incompetent coach in NBA history in Byron Scott.

Jim Buss said that if he couldn't turn the team around by 2017, he'd give up the power to Jeannie.

She's much smarter than Jim, IMO, but I wonder if he'll live up to his word.
