So Channing Tatum's been announced as Gambit in the franchise moving forward (Age of Apocalypse and beyond).

So what happened to Taylor Kitsch? I Thought Singer was supposed to be big on retaining the continuity of these films?

He showed up in too many shitty movies.

Kitsch is poison, even though he makes a more convincing Gambit than Tatum. I'm okay with the casting, it depends which direction they go with the movie. I don't think he can pull off a cajun accent worth a shit though so they'll probably Americanize him. The Xmen franchise needs to be given back to Marvel.

X Men has been the worst as far as staying true to comics. I have no hope that they'll do Gambit justice.
