Shoot the j! SHOOT IT!

I really enjoy Whitlock, but before reading the article I had the feeling it would be another tired rehash as he does draw from race stories quite a bit. But, I tip my hat to him on having something fresh and honest. The guy is a great pick if you need guest panel discussing these issues, and probably the same reason he has been booted from some of his gigs is also why he can legitimately speak on such subjects- because he's frank, honest, and readily accepts his flaws while having the intellect to constructively reflect and correct his prior misconceptions.
