It's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG season "nervous Nellie'.
But I damn guarantee you Elway is not only happy about the win but just as euphoric for him, is how big they won which takes the focus off of all his FO F'ups 'for now' anyway. Imagine if they had lost. All you would here today at least here in the Denver Sports Media would be how Elway's FO F'ups are coming back to haunt him:thumb: |
The Broncos winning the division was never a question for me.
But, really, what I've read in this thread is overreaction. That performance Thursday night by Manning was as much an indictment of the Ravens defense as a any testament to the greatness of Manning. Other than a couple of sacks and a couple of pressures, the Ravens did virtually nothing to disrupt Manning in the pocket. And the Ravens secondary was horrible. Manning had wide open receivers all night. Mixed in, in all of that, were some really bad passes. Two that I can point that you'll remember was the the terribly underthrown ball on the offensive pass interference call and the "reception" that bounced on the turf. There others. Manning's arm isn't nearly the same as it was before the neck. The AFC is so weak that I don't know that there is a team that can take them out in the playoffs. But there are a couple teams that have a chance if they can get more from their QBs. If Dalton or Shaub can ste |
If Dalton or Shaub can step up, they have defenses that can get the kind of consistent pressure that rattles Manning, which has earned him the choker reputation.

In regards to milk, I agree with the bengals. They can potentially get pressure with 4 guys which is a must against manning
