Eric Fisher is on a short leash this year. Remember last preseason when he was getting schooled by pedestrian OLBs? That happens in August, I'm declaring him a bust.

I think Smith could do a solid job if we had more around him but we don't. By the time we have it he will be done. That's why at some point this franchise had to dump salaries acquire picks and start over. Given the schedule we have this year there was no better time. 8-8 is the best I can see this team going if everything clicks. I'm predicting 5-11 and Alex Smith wearing another uniform next year. If he leads the Chiefs to the playoffs with this roster and schedule then he's a lot better than I ever thought he could be.

I'm not sure what else you call a QB who threw for 33 TD and 4300 yards last year and has led his team to the playoffs all three years of his career.

33 points in 3 playoff games, 1 TD to 6 INT's and terrible decisions in the playoffs.

I would take Alex Smith over that clown any day. Bengals should have drafted a QB early this year like Teddy Bridgewater, because we all know that ginger aint winning them shit.
