The issue is he's just not sturdy or reliably healthy.

I'm honestly shocked he survived an entire training camp and took actual carries in preseason and didn't at the very least tweak something.

On a seam up the midldle with no safeties in his way? Yeah, Jet is faster. Vision, jukes, power I give to CEH. They compliment eachother.

I'm gonna give it a little time behind this new line, but I'm starting starting to get some Knile Davis vibes from him.

Dude just doesn't seem to be identifying running lanes all that well. But the sample sizes are pretty small still so it's hard to draw any conclusions based on a handful of pre-season carries.

But McKinnon, Gore and even Thompson looked to be doing a better job of identifying and knifing through holes that CEH didn't seem to be seeing.

Purely as a rusher, there's a non-zero chance that Clyde's just...adequate.
