He shoots from further than a couple feet out, which is a plus. 2/5 of our starting lineup couldn't exactly do that last season.

35.5% on 234 threes isn't too bad. Sounds like someone an opposing team will actually have to guard, which is useful.

This feels like at best a taller Coit and at worst Timberlake 2.0. The good news is he definitely isn't shy about shooting 3s and he had some big games when he was on. Unfortunately the bad news is he, like Coit, doesn't offer much in the way of assists or rebounds, and his games against actual good teams were....not good. They played 1 tournament team this year, VCU, and in 2 games he shot 4-24 from the field 2-14 from 3. Yikes. If you expand that to the top 2 teams in the league that somehow makes the numbers worse: 5-35 from the field 3-22 from 3.

As a deep bench guy I guess it doesn't hurt but he shouldn't be counted on to be a significant contributor to a title team.
