Theres no sudden death. There would be a 30 minute overtime then penalty kicks.

You would not believe the proportion of goals that come off those kinds of miscues. Findley's flubbed chance was another example. Howard could have done more to bail Clarke's **** up out, but that kind of **** up is probably the most dependable and bankable source of goals at that level. It's such a rapid change in the flow of play that everyone gets 'wee wee'd up' except the striker who has stars in his eyes and opportunities as far as his eyes can see.

Yeah, poor phrasing. It's not a first goal wins it scenario. They play the entire 30 minutes, and if it's still tied, they go to penalty kicks.

No sudden death, except FOR the penalty kicks. Two full 15 minute halves, best of 5 PKs, THEN sudden death PKs.
