CD - I traded for Margus Hunt and now it's saying I have to sign him to a regular priced deal (it's not putting him on the rookie draft scale). I actually doubt it will even let me sign him; it's treating him like a guy that was already on my team and I've used my 2 'pre-FA' player contracts.

I presume we can fix that; draft day trades happen all the time and the rookie scale remains in place.

It looks like we still have the contracts in the "free agent re-signing" mode, so I'd hold off on signing any rookies for the time being. cdcox will reset it so you can sign your rookies to any length of contract, but that'll happen after the draft.

Yeah, it just has Hunt as being 'Tier 3' rather than R3.

So even if the rookie mode is turned back on, Hunt won't qualify as is. That's my only concern at this point.

I figure it's because I traded for the player and not the pick. I didn't want the pick if Hunt wasn't available so when the spot came up, Portland just drafted the player for me knowing the deal would get made as we had already discussed it several times.
