Hard to be mad about it.

It would be nice if they were actually an NFL level franchise again.

in other news, Dorsey just selected another guy that nobody knows. The I-am-the-smartest-GM-in-the-room competition continues.

Chiefs selected Georgia Southern LB Ukeme Eligwe with the No. 183 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Eligwe (6'2/234) started his career as a top recruit at Florida State, winning a championship with the Seminoles in 2013, but he broke his foot in 2014 and was dismissed from the team the same year after violating team rules. He spent one year at Georgia Southern, earning honorable mention All-Sun Belt, leading the team with 11 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. Eligwe figures to play inside in the Chiefs' 3-4 and try to earn an initial role on special teams.

Dude, Brantley knocked a woman out just a week ago. He ain't gettin' drafted.

Lol she asked to settle and Brantley refused. Entire bar staff was defending him too which is going to play a huge role in the case. She's basically a money grubbing bitch full of shit.

We should have taken a shot on him instead of the practice squad fodder we just took.

We should start a pool predicting Mitch Holthus' lame nickname.

Geesus try saying that five times

Just saying, Brantley would have been a great boost for the middle of the DL year 1. He would have made more of an impact than our 2nd round pick, IMO. That's coming from someone who actually likes Tonah Kpassagnon.

Depth pick with some upside. No problems here.

displacedinMN 04-29-2017 02:03 PM

cant wait for our draft picks to be in on the same tackle and listen to mitch say it

That's true, AFC North battles were always fun to watch and whatever makes the Steelers less healthy.

We are talking late round picks here. They may work or they may not. Dorsey has shown he get us players to make the team better. I'm going to trust his decisions.

Well I admit I did not do proper research on Brantley's situation. If the girl made that up, she can kill herself for all I care.

KChiefs1 04-29-2017 02:06 PM

Cleveland is having a great draft.

What I do like about these guys Dorsey finds who we often haven't heard of-- it shows they are doing their job. They aren't just going off what the talking heads suggest. They are actually digging deep and looking to find quality players at every level all over the country.

Agreed, i don't care who he selects now. He can knock himself out.

I do care that about making "who the ****?" type selections in rd 2 and 3 though.

That is what Dorsey is great at, probably the best in the entire NFL.

I just wish he would moderate that with some obvious quality picks in the high rounds.
